March 20 marked the first free cone day for Dairy Queen after the company took a two-year hiatus caused by the pandemic. This month saw even more big news for the ice cream chain. Order your favorite Dairy Queen sundaes, hot desserts, ice cream cones and classic DQ treats from BayDQ for take-out, pick-up or have your treat delivered to you by DoorDash, GrubHub or UberEats. According to a release, in honor of blizzards being invented in 1985, shop-goers can snag one of the iconic sweets for 85 cents via the chain's app from April 10 to 23. Cool until completely cold (do NOT even try to pour it over the ice cream warm) and then add in the vanilla. Stir together and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Fortunately, you can still order it because the three ingredients are available at every location vanilla soft serve, hot fudge, and crunchy peanuts. In a saucepan combine the evaporated milk, sugar, chocolate chips and butter. In addition to the summer lineup, DQ is releasing a sweet new deal. The Peanut Buster Parfait has graced the Dairy Queen menu in the past, but it has been discontinued at most locations.
